Kiev Christian Academy's Prayer for Ukraine
Our Missionary Kids' High School and Middle School Choir performed "Prayer for Ukraine" with the elementary school on June 5, 2009. The choir was sung in Ukrainian and led by choir director, Mrs. Holtz. There were many tears in the audience following this closing song.

Katya's Story

In order to truly understand the frightening experience we went through in October of 2008, you will need to read our story from the beginning to the end. Each email was written at the time it was actually happening. Our current situation is that we now have guardianship of Katya, she is living with us at home in Kiev, and we have started the one year long adoption process.

Insights into Idioms of the Russian Language
This paper gives an introduction into the difficulties found in translating idioms from Russian to English and vice versa. Through interviews and examples from Ukraine, Mike shows that a greater depth of understanding can be achieved if we take the time to study idioms in a foreign culture.
