2008 Youth Ministry Graduation at Kyiv Theological Seminary
Four additional young
men join the five graduates from last year to make a total of 9
Ukrainians who have received a Bachelors Degree in Youth Ministry.
Each of the four graduates this year have already been involved in
training youth leaders around Ukraine. They were also presented
International Ministry Certificates from Youth Ministry

South Dakota to Ukraine Summer Missions Trip - June 9 - 24, 2008
Mike and Luke took a
planning trip to Western Ukraine in April to meet with the 5
youth leaders which we will
ministering with this June. We will be conducting a week long
English conversational camp for non-Christian teenagers from the
Lutsk region at the camp shown in this slide show. Fourteen teens and adults from Sunshine Bible Academy
(Miller, SD) and Christian Life Center (Belle Fourche, SD) will be
the English teachers and short-term missionaries on this trip.
Pray for the 5
churches in the Lutsk region whom we will be ministering
with:
Fragrance Church - 30 teens - Youth Pastor, Sasha (Sr. at

Golgotha Church - 15 teens - Youth Leader, Andre (Sr. at

Insights into Idioms of the Russian Language (Winter 2007)
This paper gives an introduction into the
difficulties found in translating idioms from Russian to English and
vice versa. Through interviews and examples from Ukraine, Mike shows
that a greater depth of understanding can be achieved if we take the
time to study idioms in a foreign culture.
Fraud or Frugality: Designated Giving in Ukraine (Spring 2007)
Through research and interviews, Mike Manna has
taken a look at a sensitive subject. If your church is planning on
giving funds to a ministry in Ukraine, this paper would be worth
